Vargr Complex Ore
  • Vargr Complex Ore

The Vargr Complex located in Alaska produces gold and silver dore' as well as concentrates of copper, zinc and other base metals with PGM's present as well.

I sell the cons and dore' to refiners while keeping some raw ore, cons and dore' for my Members and customers.
These are production run ore, cons and dore' pulled directly from different stages of the mining and milling process.

We are not a paydirt company, we are a Mining company that provides access to its ore to the recreational miner for the experience, as well as to the investor/small mill operator and refiner wanting to process the dore and cons for $$'s. This ore is loaded with gold, silver and more,  Giving you the opportunity to crush and mill it in whatever way you choose or follow our video tutorials on how to process the ore.

Main commodities include gold, silver/galena.  Heavily enriched deposits also include pyrite, chalcopyrite, pyrrhotite, sphalerite and MORE!……. Absolutely gorgeous ore.

There is free mill gold and silver, with more locked in the sulfides(pyrites)!  Super fun to pan this stuff out and smelt the concentrates leftover from panning.

Pretty much every tub will contain at least a few specimen grade pieces with free-mill gold pieces and crystalline chunks, amalgam nuggets, and so much more.  All this is in quartz and country rock matrix loaded with manganese, magnesium, and over 25 other minerals.

First discovered in 1912, the Brown Bear remained abandoned for decades due to wars and then a low emphasis on mineral exploration in the United States.  In 2012, some work was being done in the area and the Brown Bear partially buried in dirt and overgrowth was rediscovered.

David Moore and “Griz” Roberts laid down their claim and worked it until 2016.  I bought the claim in 2020 and it officially became part of the Rose Complex.  1912 Samples of the Brown Bear showed high-grade free-mill gold, as well as arsenopyrite, chalcopyrite, galena, pyrrhotite, pyrite, and sphalerite.  Current assays have shown that many more minerals are present in the ore as well.

The name was changed in 2012 to the Devil’s Ledge.  This mine currently is in production status.

That’s what we offer.  Not tailings from a mine that maybe held some gold or silver back in the day….No… Fresh from the earth, concentrated or uncrushed.

Yes! We guarantee you will find gold, silver, or both, and other goodies in your pan.

    Hours of fun guaranteed.
